Individuals failing to renew by March 31st will be notified, via the contact information on file with the NCBDN, and given an opportunity to renew their licenses with an additional fee. A renewal submission received after March 31st will be assessed a $75.00 late fee. Licenses not renewed by May 31st will be considered Lapsed, and subject to all initial licensure fees and criminal background check, should one choose to reinstate.
